Description

This dataset contains the raw data exported from a database compiled in the virtual research environment nodegoat. It is part of a research project on the production of world knowledge in Germany.

The research project “The Production of World Knowledge Transformed” (2022–2025) investigated how area studies and global studies in Germany have changed over the past 30 years, both in terms of content and structure. To this end, the project compiled an overview of the institutional landscape and knowledge production in Germany-funded journal and book publications. Our data collection and analysis is carried out using digital methods.
